Privacy Policy
GANYMEDE Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) complies with laws and regulations as well as other norms concerning the protection of personal information. The Company has established organizational, human, physical, and technical security control measures to appropriately manage acquired personal information, and hereby sets forth the following Privacy Policy regarding the handling of personal information, which it will implement and maintain.

Article 1. Definition of Personal Information
In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” refers to information relating to an individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, or other descriptions contained in such information, or by numbers, symbols, images, or sounds assigned to the individual (including information that cannot identify an individual by itself but can easily be matched with other information to identify a specific individual), as well as information containing individual identification codes.
Article 2. Purpose of Use
The Company acquires and uses personal information only to the extent necessary to achieve the following purposes in the course of its business activities:
- Fulfillment of contracts concluded between the individual and the Company;
- Communication for business discussions and meetings with the individual;
- Provision of the Company’s services;
- Provision of after-sales services for products;
- Sending of information related to the Company, including announcements of lectures, seminars, newsletters, and greeting letters, and other information related to the Company’s services;
- Research and analysis for service improvement;
- Recruitment, labor management, and personnel administration, including management of employees and retirees;
- Response to various inquiries and requests;
- Any other purposes expressly stated at the time of each service use.
Article 3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company will not provide personal information to any third party without the prior consent of the individual, except in the following cases:
- Cases based on laws and regulations;
- Cases in which there is a need to protect the life, wellbeing, or property of an individual, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the identifiable person;
- Cases in which there is a special need to improve public wellbeing or promote healthy child development, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the identifiable person;
- Cases in which there is a need to cooperate with a national government organ, local government, or person entrusted thereby with performing the functions prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the identifiable person is likely to interfere with the performance of those functions;
- Cases in which the handling of personal information is outsourced to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use;
- Cases in which the personal data is provided when a person succeeds to the business due to a merger or other such circumstances.
Article 4. Handling of Specific Personal Information
- This Privacy Policy shall also serve as the Company’s “Basic Policy on the Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information.” “Specific Personal Information” refers to the meaning defined in Article 2, Paragraph 9 of the “Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedure” (hereinafter, the “My Number Act”). The Company ensures proper handling of such information.
- The Company acquires and uses specific personal information only to the extent necessary to perform administrative procedures related to social security, taxation, and disaster response as stipulated in Article 9 of the My Number Act. The main purposes of use are as follows:
- Administrative procedures in which the Company receives specific personal information from employees, etc., and includes it in required statutory documents such as withholding slips for salary or retirement income, employment insurance filings, and health or pension insurance enrollment forms, to be submitted to relevant authorities (e.g., tax offices, municipalities, Japan Pension Service, etc.)
- Administrative procedures in which the Company receives specific personal information and includes it in various payment records such as remuneration or fee payment reports, dividend or interest payment reports, and reports related to real estate transactions, to be submitted to tax authorities
- Performance of operations entrusted by administrative agencies or other business entities involving the handling of specific personal information
- The Company will not provide specific personal information to third parties except as permitted by laws and regulations. However, in cases falling under any of the items in Article 19 of the My Number Act (Restrictions on the Provision of Specific Personal Information), such information may be provided.
- If you wish to request disclosure, notification of purpose of use, correction, suspension of use, deletion, or cessation of provision to third parties of specific personal information held by the Company, or to file a complaint (collectively referred to as “Disclosure Requests”), please follow the procedures set forth in Article 6 (Procedures for Disclosure Requests) below.
Article 5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Company may revise all or part of this Privacy Policy as necessary to ensure the proper use and protection of personal information. Any revisions will be published on the Company’s website.
