ZETA DIVISION, VANTAN Inc. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ryosuke Kimura), and T1 Esports Academy (Head Office: Seoul; CEO: Joseph Patrick Marsh) are pleased to announce that the three companies have reached a basic agreement on a business partnership in the field of esports talent development.

Japan’s esports market continues to expand, and it is now attracting significant international attention as a growth market watched by the world. At the same time, in this rapidly growing market, there is an urgent need to develop specialized talent who can meet the industry’s increasingly diverse needs, including event operations and management that require specialized knowledge for each competitive title.

Furthermore, esports is a global industry whose excitement spreads across national borders. For Japan to compete on equal footing with the rest of the world and ensure that this growth does not end as a passing boom, it is essential to develop talent with a global perspective and the business skills needed to lead the industry.

To address this challenge, GANYMEDE, Inc. and VANTAN Inc., which operate the specialized esports school “ZETA DIVISION GAMING ACADEMY POWERED BY VANTAN” (hereinafter “ZGA”), have agreed to collaborate in the field of talent development with “T1 Esports Academy” (hereinafter “T1A”), the esports educational institution operated by “T1,” the world-class professional esports team based in Seoul, South Korea.

Under this partnership, the training expertise T1A has cultivated will be localized into Japan’s curriculum, and as the first step in the collaboration, T1A plans to hold a special intensive course for ZGA’s current students. Going forward, the three companies will work together to develop not only competitive skill but also the next generation of business talent for the esports industry, capable of succeeding on a global scale.
